Suave

Hello there lovely people,

Long time no write to.  Things have been quite busy and a little crazy here for me, but all in a good way.  So I was reading the MTM's blog and came across a post reviewing Suave Professionals Almond and Shea Butter conditioner.  Since I like trying new things, I decided to give it a whirl.  I used the conditioner as a leave in and as a wash out conditioner.  As a leave in I thought it was a good product.  I put it in and twisted my hair, left the twists in for two days, and then did a twist out the next day.  While my hair was twisted it was soft, but it wasn't very shiny.  When I did the twist out, my hair was fabulous.  As a wash out conditioner, this was good too, but it wasn't the best for detangling.
So, as a leave in
Pros
  • it's super cheap
  • it left my hair soft
  • it gave a nice twist out
Cons
  • didn't add any shine to my hair
  • felt a little like it left a residue on my twists
So, I didn't like it as much as SheaMoisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie, but I would definitely buy and use again if I was really low on cash because it is MEGA cheap, and it does have some good ingredients on the list.

As a wash out conditioner
Pros
  • it's super cheap
  • it left my hair moisturized
Cons
  • it wasn't great for detangling
  • it wasn't thick enough
  • it wasn't creamy enough
Similar to my thoughts for this product as a leave in, I liked this product, but wouldn't trade my Herbal Essences in for it.  I would buy this product again if the store was out of Herbal Essences or I was low on cash.

I've missed you lovely people, leave me comments!!!!!!!
Happy Valentine's Day.

Peace, love, and happiness.....
